Beginning with the 2025 graduating class, the completion of FAFSA is now a graduation requirement for students in Oklahoma.
What is FAFSA?
It is Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA); completed to learn if you are eligible for grants, scholarships, work-study programs, and loans for college or career school.
Assistance for Canadian School students and parents on completing FAFSA will be during parent teacher conferences on February 13, 2025 from 5-7 pm.
There are some important items needed to complete FAFSA:
âś…1st- student must create a FSA ID at
https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch
âś… Parent must create a FSA ID also at https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch
âś… FSA ID accounts must be created at least 7 days prior to completing the FAFSA application.
âś… FSA ID login information will be needed for the FAFSA application
âś… 2023 tax documents will be needed for the FAFSA application
âś… Complete the 2025-2026 FAFSA application at
https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa
